You’ve clicked here to learn about the origins of Wicked Forest, and we’re excited to share our journey with you. Let’s start from the very beginning.
The Beginning: The Lanna Family’s Love for HalloweenThe Lanna family has always had a deep love for Halloween. Their kids grew up eagerly celebrating the spooky season each year, transforming their home into a Halloween wonderland with light displays, music, and animatronics. As they moved from house to house, their Halloween setups grew bigger and more elaborate.
Then came the move to a house with two garages a pivotal moment that sparked even greater creativity. The youngest in the family, Nick, came up with the idea to split the garages into two different haunt themes: one was a circus and the other an asylum. Visitors would first enter the circus, only to exit into the terrifying asylum. It was a huge hit, and people loved the immersive experience.
A Farewell to the House and a New Beginning
Sadly, the Lanna family has had to move again, which means saying goodbye to the house that brought Wicked Forest to life. If you experienced our haunt last year, you witnessed the final showcase at that home. Our most recent theme was a circus, and we had a blast putting it together. But don’t worry Wicked Forest isn’t over. There are still exciting plans ahead!
What’s Next for Wicked Forest? The Lanna family may be moving, but the spirit of Wicked Forest will continue. Carter will be taking the reins and leading the charge next year. While Nick won’t be joining the family in their new home, he’ll still play a big role in the creative process, offering his expertise from afar.
We’re excited about the future, but there are still a few unknowns. As we settle into a new house, we’ll see what possibilities arise for Wicked Forest. The haunt’s design will depend on the layout of the new space, but rest assured, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way
